BTB2018 performances begin at 11.00am on Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th June. Gates will open at 9.30am each morning to give you time to park, exchange tickets for wristbands and grab a coffee and bite to eat before shows start. Events finish at 10.00pm on both Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th June.

Beyond The Border returns to St Donats Castle for a 2-day Birthday Barnstormer celebrating 25 years of the finest international performance storytelling.
“Beyond The Border – its joy and spirit is everything that story can be about” (The Times 2003)

The 25th Birthday Barnstormer will be a very special event, with limited ticket numbers and performances centred around The Castle, The Blue Garden, the new Moondance Hall, and of course the medieval Tythe Barn Theatre. Expect fables and myths, music and magic, love stories and laughter, fun and games for children and fairy tales for grown-ups, all in the beautiful grounds of our castle by the sea. Taking part will be some of the best musicians and storytellers from Wales and the World, including Sweden, Finland, Italy, India, Belgium, Norway and Palestine….

CAMPING:
Although camping is not on-site this year, and tickets therefore do not include camping, instead camping is available at the lovely nearby Heritage Coast Campsite at Monknash, just 2.5 miles down the road from St Donats, offering early morning breakfasts and late-night cafe/bar plus stories round the campfire. Includes first-class Glamping!!
Shuttle Bus Service: Although there is plenty of FREE Car Parking at St Donats Castle, if you prefer to leave your car at the campsite there will be the BTB Shuttle to take you to and fro between campsite and castle first thing in the morning, at tea-time, and last thing at night.
And there is a variety of other campsites, B&B's and hotels in the beautiful surrounding countryside of The Vale of Glamorgan.
