‘BESIDE THE SEA’
Delight in the memories that the images evoke as you look at the seascapes in this exhibition. Capture the freedom and relaxation of being by the sea. Feel the trickle of sand between your toes as you walk barefoot. Listen to the sound of the waves on the shore. Notice the movement of the waves, the shapes and colours of the pebbles coming to life as the sun and water bathe them. Bask in the warmth of the summer evening sunlight as it changes the sea colours from silver to gold. Feel rejuvenated and inspired by the experience.

A Land of Mountains and Moonbeams
Annette Carding
12 December - 30 January
An exhibition of new work by Vale-based artist Annette Carding: "my inspiration is colour, so that is where I always begin. I enter into a journey and I try to stay in the chaos as long as possible 'till a form speaks to me. I feel that is why my work leans towards a romantic element and that thus organic process allows each painting to unfold into a unique story. Let me take you to a land of mountains and moonbeams, an interesting place for a young bear's dreams ..."

These haunting and beautifully crafted drawings and photographs will find echoes in many a woman's heart, showing the pains and pleasures of a rural community.
Biography of a Shipwreck
Michael Freeman
9 March - 30 April
Michael Freeman's paintings have the compelling spiritual quality of icons; beautifully crafted works that were hard in the making, but whose eloquent handling of paint and intense feeling communicate the richness and splendour of the imagination. This exhibition of recent work has been assembled to mark the 75th birthday of the Swansea-based artist, Michael Freeman. Since the beginning of his career, his interest in the wreak of the Norwegian ship, the Helvetia, at Rhossili has spawned a whole series of paintings and still continues to dominate his work.
