You
may be aware of the significant refurbishments which we have
made recently to the Tythe Barn Theatre through a better quality
sound system courtesy of Odeon Cinemas, new and more comfortable
seating in the ground floor stalls and very soon replacing the
cinema screen with a new one. All of this has been achieved through financial assistance from the Public and Commercial sectors by sponsorship and grants. Future financial support from these sectors is becoming increasingly difficult to obtain for Arts Organisations such as ourselves. It is essential, therefore, that we continue to receive as much financial help as possible from our patrons, if we are to continue to operate and provide a varied programme of Arts Events together with Cinema Films. St
Donats Arts Centre, with the above in mind and in order to capitalise
on the improvements made to the Theatre, seeks your help in
providing funds towards the operation of a fully manned Box
Office which we can only afford to operate on a part-time basis
at present. This will enable us to, provide patrons with a more
efficient service, increase the level of ticket sales, enhance
performances and consequently raise more funding towards the
running of the Arts Centre. You
can become an “Angel” of St Donats, by either contributing a
minimum monthly donation by Direct Debit under Gift Aid of £5
for Individual Friends or £7.50 for Joint Friends. Alternatively
payments may be made annually by Cheque or Credit Card for £60
and £90 respectively. This Project is vital to us if our plans to increase attendance levels and secure the future of the Arts Centre are to succeed.
